Ambedkar's work-inspired mural for Deep Work room at Indus Action's Office, Delhi

“I like the religion that teaches liberty, equality and fraternity.” - Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar 💙✊

Ever since I painted my first wall the intention has been to create something meaningful. My journey with my art is to not restrict myself with beauty but go beyond that. Any artist would struggle to pick a favourite among their work, I do too but I am biased towards this painting of mine. This one has a special place in my heart and also, in my journey as an Artist.💙🤍

There are a number of reasons for feeling this way. This one felt important to create. I could sense my heart, mind and soul aligned when I was creating a sketch for it. A lot of reading, research, discussions and brainstorming went behind it. 💗

An important part of Ambedkar’s work was towards the empowerment of marginalised communities and since @indusaction 's work is also along the very same lines, it only made perfect sense to me to dedicate a whole wall to him. So I chose to represent those identities and their important movements through this wall and not limit to that but also extend. 🌈
Hence, the Pride flag next to the Preamble of the constitution. With the hope that the Constitution fully accepts the flag. 🏳️‍🌈🌈

Here’s to always believing in Educate, Agitate, Organize.✊
